San Francisco

This is an original song titled San Francisco. I originally wrote and recorded it towards the end of my sophomore year of high school, but I have gone back and revised it since. The song is about the stress and anxiety that comes with change, represented allegorically by a young man moving cross-country to start a new life in San Francisco. I recorded all of the instruments on the backing track, including two parts, two vocal parts, a bass, piano, and MIDI drums. The video attached is a performance of the main guitar and vocal parts over the backing track.

Breakfast in Bed

This is a blues song I wrote titled Breakfast in Bed. I am playing lead guitar and singing in the video. I am playing to a backing track, which contains acoustic guitar, bass, mandolin, and MIDI drums. I wrote and recorded all parts of the backing track. This genre is outside of my typical songwriting focus, but the influences that shape most of my music are prevalent here as well.

Like We’re Younger (Live)

This is a live performance of an original song titled Like We're Younger. The video was recorded at a gig in FDR Brewery in San Francisco. I am playing over a loop that I created live using a Boss RC-3 Loop Station -- I cut most of the setup out for the sake of brevity. I am also using a foot tamborine and a Log Jam Logarhythm foot drum for additional percussion.

Elope

This is an original jazz-style song titled Elope. There are three guitar parts -- two playing chords and one soloing. The first time through the AABA progression is just chords, the second time holds the melody, and the third and fourth times are improvised. See attached PDF for a handwritten score of Elope.
